Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I hope that in this New Year you makes your dreams reality.
The New Year also brought us a Full Moon. The past week might’ve been crazy for you with the holidays and moon energy being very intense. I think everyone pretty much got a cold, me included, which I was so sure I wasn’t going to get! But it’s also a big duh that everyone’s getting a cold…holidays had us running around and not resting, stress and expectations on high…yeah, our bodys’ are like, “Woah slow you roll!!” And queue the cold, your body forcing you to stop.
And then the full moon is asking you to release. Ha!
But when you are aware of all this, you don’t have to be all doom and gloom. Rest, acknowledge, listen and breath. No the cold wasn’t fun for me, but at the same time, I knew I needed to slow down. I was ok with what was going on, grateful for what my body was telling me…and guess what? I pretty much kicked the worst part of the cold in 2 days.
I took this cold as a way of flushing out the old 2017 gunk I needed to get rid of. Coming into the New Year all fresh and ready!
Typically with Full Moons I write down what I want to release, what no longer serves, what’s blocking my New Moon intentions from coming through. This time, I used the cold and New Year contemplations as my Full Moon “ritual”. Oh and I totally put all my crystals outside under the Full Moon light for a recharge.
And what are my New Year goals?
This is actually the first year I’m not all guns blazing and going, “Best year ever!!!” I’m coming in quiet and slow. I have some goals with my shop, to draw more and such, but that’s not my main focus that I’d be all sad if I failed. Like the New Moon intention, it’s all about self-love. Just focus on me, the inside me. Then naturally, all the other stuff will fall into place!
